Ornamental grasses are nearly universally deer-resistant. Adds vertical structure and winter interest without attracting browsing.
Bee Balm

- Keep deer-magnet plants (hostas, hydrangeas) close to the house or in fenced areas
- Spray repellent monthly from April through October on any damage-prone plants
