No Questions Asked Plant Survival Warranty

An optional add-on that extends your plant coverage to 90 days or a full year from delivery. It builds on the two guarantees every Three Timbers Minnesota order already includes for free.

What every order already gets — free

• 24-Hour Arrival Guarantee — if a plant arrives damaged, wrong, or unhealthy, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll refund it or swap it out. No replacement-delivery fee.
• 30-Day Plant Health Guarantee — if a plant dies within 30 days of delivery despite correct planting and watering, we replace it. A flat $29 replacement-delivery fee applies.

What this add-on gives you

• 1-Year Survival Warranty — a full year of survival coverage.

One warranty covers your full order. Coverage runs from your delivery date, not from spring.

Why it's optional

We grow our plants for the Twin Cities climate and know what survives — but once plants leave our Waconia nursery, a lot is out of our control: watering, deer pressure, rabbits, voles, storms, drought, and where the plant gets installed all dramatically affect whether it makes it. Every plant already carries 30 days of free coverage. Rather than build a year of warranty into every plant's price, we offer the longer terms as an optional purchase so you can decide whether you want the protection.

How it works

• Choose your coverage length (90-day or 1-year) and the tier that matches your order total, then add it to your cart
• If a covered plant dies inside your coverage window, contact us at the first sign of trouble — the sooner we know, the better the chance we can save it
• Send dated photos of the plant in its planted location, along with your order number
• We'll confirm coverage and schedule your replacement. A flat $29 replacement-delivery fee applies

Pricing

Pricing is based on your order total and how long you want coverage. 90-day coverage starts at $4.40 and 1-year coverage starts at $8.80, scaling up with your order subtotal. The exact price for each tier is shown in the options above.

What you need to do to keep coverage valid

These apply to the 30-day, 90-day and 1-year coverage:

• Plant it in the ground within 7 days of delivery — not left in its container or kept potted
• Water it as directed in the care guide: 5 gallons per plant, once a week, for the first two summers. Rainfall counts toward the weekly total
• Follow the care guide in that plant's product description at threetimbersmn.com
• Show us — dated photos of the planted plant in its planted location, plus your order number, when you claim

What's not covered (all tiers)

• Plants left in their containers or kept potted rather than planted in the ground
• Installation labor
• Over- or under-watering, or not following the care guide — under-watering is the #1 cause of new-plant death
• Neglect, or transplanting the plant after delivery
• Animal damage — deer browse, rabbit girdling, vole chewing
• Pests, disease, and vandalism
• Acts of God — frost, freeze, drought, flood, wind, hail, and fire

The fine print

Coverage is limited to one replacement per plant, valued at no more than the original purchase price. Replacement plants do not start a new warranty period. Who should buy this

The extended warranty is a smart hedge for first-year Minnesota gardeners, anyone planting trees over $100 each, homes near heavy deer corridors, and customers traveling during peak watering season. If you're an experienced gardener with a fenced yard who waters religiously, the free 30-day coverage may be all you need.
