Installation & planting
Don't want to dig?
We offer professional installation as an add-on for an additional fee, starting at $75 per plant depending on size and site conditions.
Add installation at checkout, or contact us for a quote on a larger landscape project. We'll stage, dig, plant, water in, and mulch โ you walk out and admire it.
When can I plant what I order?
Minnesota's planting season runs late April through mid-October. We deliver within this window. Orders placed outside the planting season are held and delivered when conditions are right. For detailed planting timing by plant type, see our FAQ page.
Optional Plant Survival Warranty
Plants are living things โ coverage is optional.
Every plant is hand-selected at our Waconia nursery and Minnesota-tested for zones 4bโ5a. But once a plant leaves our hands, success depends on watering, siting, deer pressure, and weather โ things outside our control. For that reason, plants are sold as-is unless you add coverage.
At checkout you can add our Plant Survival Warranty โ coverage starts at $15 for a single plant and scales with order size. If a covered plant doesn't make it through its first winter, we replace it. Read what's covered โ
What about winter?
Minnesota winters are harsh. New plantings should go in by mid-October at the latest to establish roots before ground freeze. We typically pause delivery of deciduous stock from mid-October through early April. Evergreens can sometimes be delivered later in fall with appropriate winter-burn precautions โ contact us if you're shopping the shoulder season.
